Vendetta Bloom Unleashes Debut EP “Decay Theory,” Alternative Rock Duo from Richmond, VA Ready to Take the Stage

Richmond, VA – September 16, 2025 – Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, alternative rock band Vendetta Bloom is making waves in the local music scene with their debut EP, Decay Theory. The band, a studio-born collaboration between Davy C Jr, Nate Williams, and producer/engineer Mikey Canoy (Set for Tomorrow), blends influences from bands such as A Day To Remember, Chevelle, Fall Out Boy, and Day Seeker, crafting a sound that is both raw and unpolished yet undeniably powerful.

Decay Theory is a raw confession. “Guitars that feel alive, drums that don’t care if they are too loud, and vocals that capture the tension of survival,” says Papy Jeff Metal. “Lyrics are fragmented, honest, and full of quiet dread, not emo in the hoodie-crying sense, but emo as in ‘I’m not okay, and I’m not going to lie about it.’” Produced by Mikey Canoy and mastered by Kris Crummett (Sleeping With Sirens, Dance Gavin Dance, Currents), the EP demonstrates the band’s dedication to authenticity over polish.
